ARIZONA SENATE

 

SB 1001- military preservation; land exchanges

Would amend the rules in exchanging State trust land for land that may impact military facilities in Arizona if a constitutional amendment is approved by voters.

SCR 1001- military preservation; land exchanges

Would ask voters to amend Article X, Section 3 of the Arizona Constitution to allow the exchange of State trust land to prevent encroachment upon Arizona military facilities. Companion bill to SB 1001.

ARIZONA HOUSE

 

HB 2020- honor and remember flag; half-staff

Requires that the “Honor and Remember” flag be flown at half-staff when the United States flag is flown at half-staff at the Arizona Capitol building, county Superior Court buildings, the main administrative building of each county and at the city or town hall of each incorporated city or town.

HB 2042- fallen hero special plates (Pat Tillman Legacy Plate Act)

Creates a “Fallen Hero special license plate in honor of Pat Tillman with monies raised going to the Pat Tillman Foundation for a scholarship program to aid all veterans especially veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan.
